And hers is Fish Baked Rice. Hard to tell between the two...Actually in her mind was "I WANT TO EAT! Get on with it!!!"
We took our time eating. Ate and chatted, shared our problems, and some other stuffs. Once we're done, we chatted a while more, and argued whether or not to buy ice cream. Specifically, Earthquake. Because I had numerous occasions where my friends and me ordered Earthquake and not being able to finishit . But after 'arguing', we decided on buying it.
I thought it was 5 flavours.
And it came.
Thin Mint, Sticky Choco Mix, Butterscotch, Pistachio Nut, Sticky Chewy Chocolate, LIME SHERBET and my all-time favourite, Vanilla.
The reason why we chose Lime Sherbet: whoever loses has to eat it. but the game was undecided. Oh well. And stupid me for doing 1 big scoop and putting it back. And she forced me to eat that big chunk of LIME SHERBET, with Thin Mint topping into my mouth, supposedly to cover the EXTREME sourness of the lime. And I couldn't even open my mouth to chew. -_-
Took our time eating it, and by the time we 'finished' it was already about 10pm. Yes folks, 3 hours in Swensens. It's a record!
Then I needed the toilet.
After that, we didn't know where to go next, so I suggested walking around the Esplanade, to check out the Baybeats, even though it was already quite late.
It was still quite crowded when we got there, but we strolled around to under the bridge heading towards along Singapore River. Didn't really travelled far, because I had to meet Eunice and friends by 11.15pm at City Hall.
Strolled to the merlion across the bridge from Esplanade. Basically we made one big U-turn. Enjoyed the breeze for a while, small chats and whatnot. Took a pic at Eplanade, then we made our way back to City Hall, because it was already getting late. I hate the camera. This is MILDLY edited.
Last trains arriving, and I said goodbye to Jingy, because she was rushing for her somewhat last train. Eunice left, for reasons which I don't want to mention. Vig, Elaine, Greg and Shermin aka the Bishan gang arrived on the last train as we're going CLUBBING! And we made our way to thi club called RAV which VIG recommended which is situated around Clarke Quay.
What happens when you see those underpasses along Clarke Quay? TAKE PICTURES!
Evolution gone wrong.
Oh yea, the modern Egyptians going clubbing.
After some walking (and a stop by Macdonalds), we reached Circular Road, which is where RAV is suppose to situated. We found the place, but we didn't enter, because they were checking the ICs to see whether you're of the legal age. And because of the fact that Elaine and Shermin have not yet had ther birthdays, we were reconsidering whether to still go or not. Eventually we decided to go to MOS and try our luck.
Stopped by the Coffee Club because it was getting quite warm. Went there just to soak in the atmosphere, and we felt cool. Greg and Vig went to find MOS while the rest waited.
It was actually around the corner, so we left and shortly after, we reached. The entrance is actually round corner, in front of the entrance of the multi-storey carpark. We could hear the loud music blasting away from the outside, and there were quite a lot of people just waiting to queue. And it's around 2am.
Experienced lots of things. Drama, trans, the usual if you're familiar with night life. Not saying that I'm a regular. On the contrary, it's my first time. =)
Elaine and Shermin wouldn't want to take the risk of entering MOS, so they went back to Coffee Club while Vig, Greg and me entered.
Entrance fee was $23.50 if i'm not wrong. And they give you 2 free drink coupons. Coolio! But I didn't use it because I wanted to keep them.
Upon payment, they'll stamp your hand. Whereby only visible under UV light, there'll be a "VIP" symbol, indicating that you've paid.
Entering the place, my eyes hurt trying to adjust to the flashing lights around the place and my ears to, adjusting to the volume of the music. Walked around the exterior, exploring the perimeters, and then went up the second floor. The atmosphere really made you want to dance your ass off.
The view from the 2nd floor. My camera is not that good, therefore you can't see the people in different shades of different colours from the flashing lights emanating, somewhat in tune with the music.
Stood around the 2nd floor, while observing people dancing on the first. Quite a lot of shufflers, I've noticed.
Anyway, pics! Me and Vig.
The promoters of Heineken. Haha!
I love this pic. And it's a bit edited by me, putting more contrast to it. This is taken outside the toilet. Don't ask why.
Vig and Greg used up their 2 drink coupons. I DIDN'T DRINK IF THAT'S WHAT ON YOUR MIND.
Vig and Greg.
She thinks it's cute like that. I'll shoot her the next time she does that.
Indifferent.Clubbed till 4am, then we left. I was quite sad that we had to leave, because I still wanted to dance some more. Heh.
"WHERE'S MY ICED TEA???"
Shermin and Elaine were waiting outside. Shermin was feeling panicky because she's not used to the night life, and I admit, it is scary if you're alone outside at that time. Well, we tried cheering her up by consoling her, assuring her that it's going to be safe, since all of us already there. Cracked lame jokes. Made hoarse voices, and Elaine was convinced that because she thought we kept shouting while we were inside. Haha. Took some more photos...
Red pig, dead, short.
The Bishan gang. Starring Greg, stoner.Er, family photo, with me extra. Elaine, red pig, Shermin, me.
Left the place after sitting around for a while. Went to the nearby toilet. Outside, we got ourselves involved in a camwhore frenzy.
Ready or not, here I come!
It's time to play, GUESS WHO'S WHO! Pics are midly edited so there's no sign showing who's who. Plain black and white!
Pic 1.
Pic 2.
Pic 3.
Pic 4.After the fun was over, we were thinking of having breakfast while waiting for the first train home. But due to some unforseen (probably) circumstances, we didn't. So we waited for the cab at the nearby taxi stand. I took the cab home and I waved goodbye to them.
It was a quiet journey home. A first time taking the cab so late at night (early in the morning?). Feeling satisfied, I didn't doze off. Well not really, I was somewhat anticipating those kind of situations whereby the cab driver would randomly chat with you, for whatever-unknown reasons probably thinking he just needs someone to talk to. Or perhaps asking me where I was from, doing what and why am I still out at that time.
Well, it didn't happen. I was just staring out the window, staring outside as I see trees passing by, other cars driving past.
Reached home at around 5.30am. Quickly changed and went to sleep, happily.
